About the Author

The book "Blessed Be," is the life story and Christian testimony of Julia Wells. Julia has resided in Nevada for the past forty years. She has lived in Reno, Sparks and Carson City, where she met and married her present husband of thirty-one years. They have owned their own business, "J &R Electronics" (in Carson City, Nv.) for the past thirty-five years. They moved to Silver Springs, Nevada in 1985, where they built their present home and a dog kennel for American Eskimo pure-bred show dogs.

Julia was born in San Pedro, California on September 5th,1947, on Labor Day. Coming from a dysfunctional home, she spent much of her youth with her grandmother. She attended most of her elementary school years in Riverside, California, before moving to Fresno county's farm land and Jack Harris Ranch. There she was bussed to school in the small town of Riverdale. There she thought that it was cute to say that she attended High School at Riverdale High along with Archie, Betty and Veronica. Julia went on to study Interior Design through La Salle Institute. As a hobby she took some creative writing courses.

Julia worked at the Gottschalks Department Store in Carson City, before it's closing in August 2009. Julia has three adult children, and seven grandchildren. She has raised American Eskimo pure-bred show dogs. She and her two Grand Champions; Gr. Ch. Pr. Sierra Tinker Toy, and Gr. Ch. Pr. Sierra Tinker Bell, have been featured in the United Kennel Club's, Bloodlines Magazine. Julia has also written articles for same magazine.Julia is a member of Al-Anon; she has been the Al-Ateen sponsor for Carson City, She has been a Sunday school teacher. The Lord inspired Julia to write this book when her husband Roger was diagnosed with cancer. Now her daughter is also fighting breast cancer. Julia's message is that there is hope and she wishes to share the many blessings and miracles the Lord has blessed her and her family with.
